13 June 2007It looks like Jim Hendry and the Chicago Cubs are following up on the crazy umpiring in their weekend series with Atlanta. Hopefully there will be some sort of apology or statement of error by MLB shortly.
I’d be willing to bet Renteria’s injury is from his slide/punch of Mike Fontenot. Punk.
In other news, the Giants have won two straight by one run… more close games. In all, the Giants have played 38 games (15-23) decided by two or fewer runs, the most in the majors this season.
